Малцина не знаят думата Аушвиц. Този лагер на смъртта остана в историята като най-кървавия през Втората световна война. Затворниците практически не са били хранени и регулярно са ги горели в пещите. Лагерът си е имал и командир, както и охрана. Много от тях са избягали след войната, но не за дълго. След доста години всички, които са имали отношение към работата в лагера, са изловени и през 60-те години започва процесът срещу тях. Този филм е разказ за тези процеси.
