Ancien hors-la-loi, personnalité hors-norme et père au grand coeur, Castaneda n’a pas toujours été du bon côté de la vie. Aujourd’hui, il n’a qu’un seul objectif : donner le meilleur à sa fille. Pour cela, il enchaîne les petits boulots et fait tout pour rentrer dans le rang. Mais quand sa fille disparaît, il s’affranchit des règles pour la retrouver. Les premières heures sont décisives et les commissariats en sous-effectifs alors Castaneda va enquêter à sa manière : entouré de gens comme lui, des anonymes, sans passe-droits ni diplômes, ils vont sillonner la campagne pour traquer le ravisseur. Antisystème, rois de la débrouille et proches des gens, et si Castaneda et son équipe étaient les mieux placés pour la retrouver ?
